NLCS Game 3: At Stretch, Pitchers Have Settled In

The Houston Astros still lead the Chicago Cubs 3-2 as we head to the bottom of the 7th inning.

Houston starting pitcher Nolan Ryan (6 IP, 2 ER, 2 H, 5 BB, 7 SO) has been working out of all situations that come his way, with Chicago batting 1-for-12 with runners on base.

Meanwhile, Chicago starter Steve Trout went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, striking out 5.

He was relieved in the top of the 6th by Warren Brusstar, who worked around an error by catcher Jody Davis and retired the next three batters he faced.

The NLCS is currently tied, 1-1.
